Had an appointment to see the M1 iMac, the guy who helped us was kind and polite but knew not a damn thing about the computer. He showed me the wrong base model, twice, couldn’t explain the differences between the models, anything he said he read directly off the “compare models” tab on screen. The only thing he said over and over again was how popular the new iMacs are – cool that’s why I’m here. Then he just kind of stared at me for about ten minutes in silence. Take the time and just watch an MKBHD video in the back.

This Apple Store is located right next to Nordstrom which is connected to a covered parking garage with plenty of spaces. There are lots of staff ready to help. You can try out various products to your satisfaction before you buy. That is a really good sales experience.

The booking system is a travesty: you have to make an appointment just to return a thing, a feat which takes minutes to do. We had gone to the store to return some product and were told that the next appt would be 2 hours away. Obviously we aren’t going to wait. So I book an appt for another day to return but also want them to look at a tech problem with my phone. The return went fine but they won’t help me with the other tech issue unless I make ANOTHER appt for it. Why aren’t you giving your booked customers priority to take care of all their problems while they’re there? It may be efficient for you to make your customers book appts for every granular issue but it’s a complete waste of my time to have to keep coming back over and over again. I may just return the phone because I can’t be bothered with your customer service anymore.
