We love the demo fences out front with descriptions of how to prepare and maintain different types of wood. I’m also very impressed with the customer service. They took the time to explain the merits of various types of wood finishes. They also have testers available to try out, rather than spend money on something we might not like.

We were starting a family woodworking project in our backyard and decided to visit Bauer Lumber to get wood for the project.We went two separate times and had equally terrible service. They talked down to us and did not help us understand what we needed to buy (we’re amateurs). They were blunt, rude, and were very disrespectful. Everyone in the cutting area was great, but the two men at the front desk unfortunately demonstrated some of the worst customer service we’ve ever experienced.
