A large park near the Oyster Bay downtown harbor and marina. There are sandy beaches, a number of sports fields, and spots for picnics. There are some excellent views of the Long Island Sound, and during summer months the harbor is filled with boats of all kinds. The views are especially beautiful during sunset.

It’s a amazing place near by NYC , amazing view , clear beach , less waves so you can go with your kids . A lot of seagulls there . Sunset is really amazing there . You can do boating, kayaking fishing and all that , if you don’t drive you can take Long Island Rail Road to go there , there is station nearby.Very nice place to go with family and friends.

This is a positively beautiful park with a beach that is a very short walk off paved walkway. And by short I mean from pavement to water is about 30 feet but it is very shelly with small rocks as apposed to sandy. So flip flops are highly advised when walking on it. There’s a playground and public bathrooms as well as food concession that weren’t open at the time of Mt visit but now with Covid restrictions easing that may have changed. PS There’s public parking as well… I really love this place!
