I really appreciate Petco and the safety measures that they run their stores by. They implement all of the mask mandates, everything is wiped down and sanitized.I use their vital care monthly pet insurance for our German Shepherd and I can tell you it is worth the $9.99 a month because it’s normally 1999 a month but you get $10 in credit every month for dog food or cat food and you get unlimited washing and toenail clipping and teeth brushing you get vet visits and all kinds of Wonderful convenient grooming and healthcare along with food and toys. If you go into the grooming shop here at the Redding Petco store ask for Carol but she works on our German Shepherd and she is the best handler of dog’s.So if you can afford it I highly recommend the vital care monthly pet insurance.It ends up being about $9.99 a month, and it’s completely worth it every single bit.

I’ve only been there two times . Both times I felt like I was a bother to the staff. The last time they were checking in the large delivery. And didn’t want to bothered with anything else . Kinda understandable but we as the consumers are the reason they have jobs. The first time I went in I had to ask the person that was ordering products or something to that effect three times to help me before they acknowledged me . Then they walked fast to the general area and pointed to a rack and said its about in the middle. And left me . Okay, I did find what I was looking for and then the sticker shock. So I have a feral cat colony and sorry to say I will not be returning to this Petco again. Rude employees will make me find a new place to shop everytime.

Ive had a couple of really good experiences at this Petco recently. I was picking up an item that I ordered online and watched an employee do a great job of handling an unmasked shopper. The employee was polite and gave the shopper several options, including using curbside pickup. I appreciate this concern for the safety of others. And
