I always brushed this spot off as just a tea shop but it’s way more than that. Some of the best food I’ve have in months! Their menu has something for everyone. I was pleased with the moisture of the savory scone-wich. I recommend getting on of the towers so you get a mini 3 course meal. I loved that I was able to purchase sample sizes of their wide variety of teas. I can’t wait to go back.

This place is a tea lover’s paradise! Visited for a Friday brunch and ordered a green tea and The Legendary Afternoon Tea, which came with a Ratatouille and Goat Cheese Sandwich, a Chicken Cobb Salad and a Peaches and Cream Crepe. The food was decent. Liked the option to sit outside when the weather is nice.

I always thought tea drinkers more friendly than coffee drinkers. The one star for Whistling Kettle is that they reminded me the danger of stereotyping. This restaurant is disappointing in customer service and taste. We came for Mother’s Day and were horribly disappointed by the service and food. When we arrived they said it would be a 40 minutes wait. After 45 minutes we went back to check and they said it would be 1.5 hours. The food ended up being mediocre and overpriced. Maybe this type of establishment did well when there weren’t others. But Troy has so many great lunch places now. Your money is best spent elsewhere.
