I went into the tattoo parlor wanting a cover-up tattoo. I went in for consultation had to wait 15-25 minutes before I was seen. No problem. The atmosphere of the shop looked professional. So it was time for me to describe to Rocio what I wanted to have covered up and with which kind of photo. The response she gave me was, and I’m paraphrasing “I would have to go get laser removal because the ink penetrated more layers of my skin than normal. With the kind of tattoo I want and the coverup colors it around still be seen”. So what I took from it is that she’s not that good at cover-up work. I’ve come across all these cover-up tattoos online with people whose skin is lighter than mine and tattoos that look like they were inked in the skin deep and their cover-up artwork was phenomenal. If you want good cover-up work don’t waist your time going here.
