This is such a peaceful & serene atmosphere. Has a duck pond where the ducks bathe & hang out. Landscape is gorgeous, a bridge to cross the large duck pond & many statues of children at play. Water hose statue of a child hiding with low flow water coming out. Rose gardens, play area for kids to ride the swings, park benches & picnic tables to enjoy reading a book outdoors. Cute walkways to go for long strolls on. Very quaint area to spend alone time or time with the kids. I enjoyed my leisure time there.

One of the most peaceful, calm and stunningly beautiful at night places in and around Thousand Oaks. The lights, the lakes, the swings, bench and rocks to sit on. The cool breeze, ducks and fish. It’s so relaxing and calming. To get rid of any kind of tension or to blow of some steam. Just go here and put your favorite slow song on and endlessly glance into the abyss. You will visit this place more than once if you want to be calm… Fortunate to have found this place.

We had Mother’s Day dinner out under the pergola at PF Chang’s, and strolled through The Lakes afterward. My son played on the playground and gazed into the lake. He lived the slide. He didn’t want to leave. This plaza is a bit empty now, but I’m sure occupancy will increase dramatically in the coming months and years with T.O. making this area the center of it’s downtown renovation, and with the pandemic subsiding. Keep a lookout!
