As a former employee it’s taken me a while to process the insanity that is this business and the weird experience I had there. I don’t feel much background story is needed, but as someone with over 7 years in retail/sales (most in small businesses with the loveliest owners) I’ve never dealt with a person who happens to own a business that is so shallow and vindictive, I knew I had to get out. This is the message I got from Cheryl when I kindly and swiftly resigned.Enjoy!In the future I recommend that you communicate with your employer. You can only learn when you understand the big picture. You are a young person working with older more seasoned employees. You still have a lot to learn. All young people go through a learning curve.
