If you like an authentic deli sandwich you wont regret trekking here. We flew in to San Francisco Airport and after picking up our rental we were told about this shop. I LOVE DELI.I also love sourdough bread and nowhere will you find better sourdough than Frisco. Little Lucas was the bomb!I always get turkey and cheese, with fixings and this ranked with the best I’ve ever had. The roll was a hard sourdough exterior with a soft center….perfection!We stopped on the way to Napa…enjoy!

I waited years to be in south city during lunch time. I have been told about this magical sandwich shop since before I moved up to the bay. It was everything I had hoped for, and way more delicious than I expected.1) go early 2) order for pickup if in anything like a rush 3) be cool, it is worth itA family of four (or one me) can make a meal out of one sandwich. They are huge, and well filled with delicious stuff. I went for everything in terms of condiments and fixings, I can imagine going through the list one at a time might take a bit.There is nothing third wave about this shop, old-school is the only school here.

Hands-down, the best sandwich you’ll ever eat!!!! I’ve only had the Italian roast beef on the Dutch crunch bread and even though they have dozens of selections this sandwich is so good it makes me never want to try anything else!
