Shopping online for a reliable shop who’s expert in transmission and came across Monterey Transmission. Went & took our RAV4 for diagnostic . Thanks to Tony for explaining the problem in a simple way that we clearly understood and for giving us a good discount with warranty for a new transmission. Today we picked up our car in excellent condition – just like new. By the way Tony showed to us the old transmission that has been removed without hesitation. Tired of paying high prices through the Chevy dealership, I contacted several shops for an estimate to repair the transmission on my 2015 Chevy Camaro SS. I chose Monterey Transmission because of the Outstanding Customer Service I received from Tony. He answered all of my questions, gave me a breakdown of what is involved in a transmission repair and went above and beyond for me. Tony arranged for my car to be picked up from the Chevy Dealership making it hassle free. My vehicle was back on the road by the end of the week and I saved about $900 from using the dealership. A few days later my car wouldn’t start. I wasn’t sure if it was the battery or the starter. Tony came to my rescue free of charge. Once again, above and beyond. Turns out I needed a new battery. Tony jump started my car and once at the shop, installed my new battery. Monterey Transmission, Auto Repair and Tires will definitely be my new shop of choice for all repairs. I can not tell you how anxiety filled it is to have the check engine light come on related to the transmission and in search of a new shop after having the same person for years. Then the added annoyance of trusting someone to be honest, upfront and understanding. This was the place for that! Everyone that I spoke with that had frequented this shop had the same to say. If ever there is an issue again, I am driving straight to this shop.
