The Beginning of the End…This was the CROWN JEWEL of the East Bay Peet’s locations. Let me tell you, they had some of the most expert baristas who provided an artisanal experience in a cup!Alas, they’ve made the decision to install a press-and-go espresso machine that removes from the beverage all the complexities and nuances of flavor for which Peet’s is famous and beloved.If you can, just go to a location that doesn’t have this Lame-Excuse-for-Trained-Baristas Machine. Otherwise the brewed coffee is still the same.
