This place is hands down the best Mediterranean food in the Bay Area.

I order couple of their dishes. The saffron rice with lamb dish was really bad!! The rice had been cooked unprofessionally!! It was not fresh at all. The veggie at the top was hilarious including “half a cherry tomatoes” The stuff were a little rude. Some items were missing as well. The lamb at the top of rice were like a copy of the lamb on the rice, hardly you could see 3 tiny tiny pieces. The wraps were ok. The area of the restaurant was cute tho. But I think this restaurant is highly over rated!!

10/10 recommend Pomella 🙂 My mom and I were looking for some comfort food after a trip to IKEA! The food was the freshest middle-eastern we have had in CA. Pleasing to the eye, mouth, and heart. Fresh, unique, satisfying salads and saffron rice bowls that make you feel good. We must point out the stuffed falafel and the house made sangria because they were out of this world!!!We were able to order online for pickup but when we arrived the outdoor dining area was so well spaced, safe, and beautiful with all of its color- we just had to sit down. This is the cleanest and safest I have felt dining out or taking out!

Homey is how I would describe the food. It feels very light and wholesome, like food made at home by the expert chef in your family. It does well on flavors with a great choice of ingredients. Patrons, please don’t add hot sauce to any of the dishes.
