Absolutely beautiful place with kind staff.

Well worth admission $12senior $15. If you walk most of the trails you’ll walk close to 4+ miles, but you could also have a fantastic time walking less. I would plan on at least 3 hours but if time is an issue you’ll be able to have a great visit in 2 hours. Tip-Make sure to check out the trails on the other side of the road too

Nice little Botanical Garden, sad to see no water in the river due to drought. I liked that it maintains the natural forest feel, doesn’t feel overly manicured/man-made. Not too big, dog friendly but some of the nicer paths not mobility limited friendly, a lot of stairs. Great views of the mountains. So many beautiful dogs!

So happy that Philip of Gerlach Photography recommended this place. In his gallery, he featured the California poppies found in this garden. Well manicured and taken care of. The conservancy really took pride of conserving wild flowers of California. I learned a lot about them. The staff were nice too! He helped us which trail to check out. Don’t forget to see the Redwood trees and hike out the canyon and island trail. And of course, the meadow , is the most striking of all. I will come back again to see the nursery and tea house
