If you like the friendly, casual atmosphere of a local diner but prefer a healthier and fresher menu, Franklin Street Caffe is the perfect place for you! Just like a traditional diner, we serve breakfast all day long and offer a tasty array of comfort foods, but our dishes have a light, sunny, West Coast twist. Tucked away in the back of Sequoia Station, our restaurant is a fun and lively place to sit back and enjoy some excellent food and convenient for CalTrain riders. We understand the importance of coffee for busy people on-the-go, so we make sure ours is outstanding. We make it fresh throughout the day and serve espresso, lattes, chai and other hot drinks and juices. Once you’re awake, check out our breakfast menu.

I randomly dined here for breakfast because the other cafes in the area were closed and didn’t open until 9am. I’m an early bird I know. I’m pleasantly surprised and I would definitely come here again. You go inside to order then pick your seat inside. The cafe was empty before 10am so had the whole outdoor area to ourselves minus one other party.I tried the Italian omelette which was loaded with bell peppers, Italian sausage, onions, and mushrooms. It came with a side of toast and country potatoes. The potatoes were so crispy and bomb! I loved how crispy they were on the outside, I do wish they were salted a bit more but other than that it was so filling and tasty.Cute cafe in a weird center near cal train and Safeway. A homeless man came wandering into our dining area asking for change. I do wish they had staff outside or a hostess that could block them from coming in.

Very good quality. Sweet waitstaff. I love the veggie sandwich. Enough for two meals. Includes the best fries.
