My friend absolutely adores the Paradise Cake from King’s Hawaiian Bakery near Los Angeles. I mean, she’s obsessed (I’ve literally boarded a place carrying a cake for her). Since nobody wants to venture to LA during this pandemic, we figured the next best thing was the Queen Emma cake from Ono (much closer 🙂 and we were not disappointed. It’s delicious! Well worth the trip to the East Bay. I’m excited to try more goodies the next time I visit.

My sister surprised us with a slice of Queen Emma cake & Chocolate Haupia pie. I love the flavors of all of it ♡ It’s been a really long time since we’ve had island flavors (Guava and Haupia are my favorite!), and it was really delicious. We’re already planning on trying to get the Haupia pie for our mom’s birthday in April :p
