I love this Trader Joe’s. They have a large parking area that is helpful. They are still requiring masks to enter, and clean the carts between use.That staff is friendly. The layout is pretty easy to follow. Best to go earlier to avoid crowds.I like that some of the favorites are tagged in the frozen food section–which let’s people know what customers really like.

I hate that I like this place. They have a lot of things I like at good prices. The atmosphere is pleasant and the employees are helpful and seem happy. They also are open till 9:00 (previously till 10:00).However, I gladly would pay a little more to patronize a local business that’s not a foreign-owned chain. To that end, I like to shop at Farmer Joe’s, The Food Mill, House of Produce (a Cambodian grocery store in the Laurel district), and the Berkeley Bowl. Nonetheless, I often wind up still going to TJ’s for the convenience.
