This place is MAGICAL. I was SO happy to find that it survived the pandemic. When I get my locs tightened, this is my salon of choice. Having my locs, cleaned and conditioned at her ONE shampoo bowl where Mama Sunshine pours cascades of warm water over your freshly massaged scalp will transport you to outer space. Reminds me of when my Momma washed it back in the day.

I love Mama Sunshine’s Mudwhip! It’s an awesome product and she does the most amazing job with natural hair. She must be gifted because she can transform hair dos into a piece of artwork. I’ve been to see her more than a dozen times and people are always shocked at the swing in my hair. She does micro mini twist and my hair has new life. The Mudwhip will whip your hair into too shape!
