My unit is on the first floor. Yesterday I discovered that rats had invaded my unit destroying pretty much everything that contained some form of stuffing — especially pillows. I’m still assessing the damage. Not good. I’ve been a tenant for many years. Just had a big rate increase on April 1st. And now I’m dealing with rodents and the path of destruction and droppings they left behind. If they’re in my unit, they’re likely in others. 🙁

This place is not secure and our property was stolen. The walls of the storage units on the first floor do not go up to the structure above and some have 2+ feet of space available for someone to get in and/or lift stuff over and out. Some have chicken wire over the tops while many do not and there’s no cameras in these areas. No one on staff checks to make sure that the facility is cleared of people or cars at closing so it’s easy for folks to stay in after hours. We’ve seen signs that people live there. The one star is because the front desk person who assisted during our burglary reporting was courteous. You’d be better off storing your stuff in a more secure place such as Harbor Bay RV and Self Storage.
