The Assembly Pop-Up Shop

  4.5 – 4 reviews   • Gift shop

The Assembly is where brands and people meet. We bring brands and people together through pop-ups, markets, and a growing online community. At our current pop-up shop in downtown San Mateo, we sell a broad range of gift items: apparel, accessories, jewelry, pins, stationary, art, toys, and beyond. You’ll be surprised at what you find. First established in December of 2014, this ever-evolving concept is presently a trip to Wonderland, akin to going Down the Rabbit Hole. Expect an eclectic mix of new and old treasures, everything from locally handmade goods to vintage and thrifted items, as well as custom-printed shirts, mugs, and prints. Check out our website or swing by the pop-up to learn more about our many initiatives. Live Curiously.

Review Summary

Tons of stuff but the prices are laughable. And half of the things look pre-owned. It’s not a thrift shop though. The entire shop is so crammed that you can barely walk around. The people dont speak spanish so I as a customer had to help translate how to order their own products which apparently takes 2 weeks??? On the plus side the dude working there was really nice. Even if the whole place seemed like a scam.
