TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THE DISABLED & SENIOR CITIZEN. Under new ownership Very lovely! I purchased my bird, African Ringneck, Pure Albino! We named her ANGEL! SHE IS HEALTHY AND BEAUTIFUL!! Wnen I purchased the bird the owner Matt brought my to my house, Remind you I wanted to purchase an African Grey. My husband had just come home from the hospital, so Matt being the owner brought Angel to my house expecting me to purchase her because he told me she was a talking Parrot, explained to me how much he paid for her because he had never seen this breed and asked if he could make a couple of $100 of her the bird was mine. After telling me what all he would do for my purchased, bring her toys, food and everything to set her cage up, also promised his brother or employee from the store would come by in a few days to clip her wings so we could let her out the cage because he hadn’t had time for her and she was terrifying the store after hrs because she was smart and knew how to escape and enter into other bird cages after hours, he had to pluck her head. AFRAID, that she would kill his other birds. He admitted she was not handed he didn’t have time because he has a construction business also, plus his wife left several kids on him and he has now met a new gal here in Barstow. To make a long story short he asked if I would go online or fb and give him a good review, I did as you saw in the beginning. Matt, never answered my calls, so I went to the store and told his employer what was said he knew nothing about what I said, he NEVER told the employee so I told the employer to call him, the employee pass me the phone, Matt fast talked me and told me to pass the phone back to the store employee, he then told the cashier to charge me with a very small discount. So while in the store I purchased another bag of food and other goods that my baby girl needed. The employee sold me 2 nesting things for $10 each total of $20 that matt took along with a smaller bird cage brand new from Walmart. They cage he bought the bird to me was a little bigger and since he was talking so good I had ordered my cage for my AFRICAN GREY, from Amazon and Matt was shocked when he walked in my home that I was already set up so he then said you won’t escape any more I can see you have a nice home, so he knew she would be loved and well cared for. FOR about a month went by he text said he apologized he has to order a set of trimmers because you can cut the wings with scissors from Amazon so I was like ok. Another month has gone by Matt has not came by yet and I don’t know of anyone local that I can hire to clip Angel’s wings. I have given him ample time and respect for the issues that is going on in his life. ALSO, out of the blue one day in November, I received a call that he was working on a construction job would it be ok for him & another guy stop by between 3pm-4pm I said sure all excited and asked him PLEASE don’t stand me up, he said I PROMISE!! GUESS WHAT, he said he worked until midnight the night before but he was still coming remind you it was getting dark so you can take it from there. He mentioned his aunt down the street from where I live passed away the first day he came to my house, when he told me her name I knew from my neighborhood monthly paper EXACTLY who he was talking about. He seemed to be very nice person but is not dependable at all! Can anyone suggest where I can get Angel’s Wings clipped so she get to know us better.??? YOU CAN SEE ANGEL & HER CAGE PURCHASED FROM AMAZON THAT I GAVE HIM KNOWLEDGE WHERE TO PURCHASE FOR THE STORE AT REASONABLE PRICES!!! I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I AM DISABLED & A SENIOR CITIZEN!!!

I was able to get my pets nails cut the same day.The people here treated them like family.The love and care for my pets is outstanding.I live out of the area.I will be taking the trip to Barstow from now on.Come and check it out.

The man who owns the shop is very rude. Very bad customer service. I’m not one to leave reviews but he was absolutely rude and disrespectful.
