Love Kitazawa Seed Company! We have been ordering seeds and getting them shipped to Washington, DC (Zone 7a) for the past four years. We were hugely successful with daikons (#555 Giant White Radish Fujikaze Hybrid). We grew about 30-40 daikons last summer. Our thai basil also flourished (#228 Siam Queen). We also managed to grow more opo squash (#461 Nam Tao Yao) than we could eat. We also grew various mustard greens and were harvesting and eating them even after the first frost here in DC. All were grown by seed, sowed directly into the ground, with thinning to ensure adequate space. We found thinning the seedlings to be key.
