My 1st time visiting in years. I received coupons in the mail and saw they had a new item…. signature bowls, so I thought I’d give it a try. The coupon was for a $5 combo, so I ordered the street corn bowl with a side of jalapenos, corn tortillas, and a bottled water. It was really good. The corn was sweet, the chicken was tender and it wasn’t over grilled (burned). The bowl itself was nicely arranged, and there wasn’t too much of one ingredient.I ordered through the drive through. I didn’t feel rushed, the staff was friendly and the wait was quick. It’s El Polo Loco so there is no need for an over the top detailed experience. A good quick lunch stop.

I always like El Pollo Loco. I’ve never had an order come messed up, and the food is almost always good. I say almost because the chicken is dry more often than I’d like, but the flavor is always there; and with some salsa or creamy cilantro dressing, it’s fantastic. I’m always ready to grab a tostada salad!
