Bike was sold to me as a medium frame as that was what I needed, and I told them that. The bike they sold me they told me was a medium frame. I took it home and took it on a few trails, and felt that it was a bit too small. I took it back in to ask if I could return it since it was too small. They didn’t accept and the guy told me it seemed fine as it had a compact design. Fine. Though I think I would know if something does quite fit right if I’m telling you that. However, I went and took measurements of the frame and found out it was actually a small. I then searched the bike to try and find a size sticker, and it confirmed that it was a small frame. So they sold me the wrong frame size after I said that I needed a medium, and they told me it was a medium, and when I brought it back, again insisted that it was a medium.I then found out that this bike was sold astronomically over price, by close to $500 over true market value, for a twenty year old bike. It costed me $865, when in reality, now that I’ve been told better, it should have only been sold for MAYBE $300.I’ll take the L, I’ll accept that I should have looked into it more but however, it’s very shady that you would sell someone a bike $500+ over market value that’s twenty years old, insist it’s the right size I asked for, a medium frame, when it’s actually a small.I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else. I just want others to be aware of my experience. Please take caution, do your research, and LISTEN to the 1* reviews from some other folks.

Took advantage of a friend of mine who has no idea about bikes. She went there to get advice from professionals on which bike to buy for the first time. She needed a medium frame. The sold her a used small frame GT bike from 2001 for $865 (the bike is priced $150-$200 on bicycle blue book). Yes, you read that right, $865 for a 2001 used GT to someone who just wanted advice on which mountain bike to buy for the first time. Terrible how they took advantage of her. If you don’t knowuch about bicycles save your time and don’t get ripped off!!!

I would highly recommend all buyers beware. A sellers market is one thing, intentionally ripping off a customer on a 20 year old bike…that’s another. $850 for a used 20 year old GT Idrive 5.0 that’s worth less than $200……shame on you.Hopefully my review is the first of many coming your way from our mountain bike forum.
