We are a Stone Vision company, which has been creating beautiful mantels, mantel surrounds and much more for over 23 years. We have completed projects all over the country, including Hawaii, Florida, and throughout California. We are proud to provide services to the entire Bay Area. Husband and wife team Damon and Jaime Mathews decided to open Walnut Creek Fireplace in 2015 so that they could offer a full-package fireplace remodel from start to finish. Now they can provide you with an energy-efficient fireplace or insert AND create the mantel surround you have always dreamed of!

We had an old 80’s style fireplace that we wanted to change from gas to electric (since we have solar) so we called Damon. He was prompt and helpful. His team installed the electrical, fixed the drywall, did amazing stone work and now we have a beautiful new fireplace! I’m so happy with our new fireplace! We have another fireplace in our family room that will be fixed up and beautified by Damon and his team in the near future! I highly recommend this company.

Really love our new fireplace! The folks at Walnut Creek Fireplace were very helpful, from start to finish helping to align on a final design that fit our space. Even with a manufacturers delay due to the pandemic, they were great about communication all along the way. The installers were very conscientious of the installation space, keeping it clean and were careful with social distancing. And when they patched the wall where the gas line was connected, they brought in the perfect touchup paint. You can’t really tell there was ever a hole there. We are very happy.

It’s rare to find businesses these days that provide this level of service. We purchased two fireplaces from Walnut Creek Fireplace. The staff was wonderful to work with, and also knowledgeable. Damon was always available as we worked to find the right fireplaces for our home renovation. Years later, we had a small issue with one of the units. I called to get a referral for a repair shop, but Damon insisted on coming over personally and fixing the issue. He was here that same day, diagnosed the issue, resolved it and declined payment. If you’re looking for a fireplace, I’d highly recommend Walnut Creek Fireplace. They really do take incredible care of their customers, in addition to having a great showroom of product.
