I have purchased 5 fireplaces from this company over the years, 3 in my new home. Most are wood burning, and they are a great company for wood. However, this new home has a Town and Country indoor/outdoor gas unit. Not cheap, btw, $15,000. I have had 12 service calls on this unit in the past 10 months of occupancy; finally 12 was a good number to get it working correctly; just working was a relief. Today, after lighting nicely 5 times during the last month, no flame. I have called for service call #13. They are very nice people, but no one should spend this kind of money and have a clunker of an operation like this. A lemon perhaps? Should key parts be replaced? It is not a very complicated setup — why cant it work correctly? What say, Bill?
