Lana Ortiz Photography is a boutique studio near Albany, NY, which specializes in Family, Vanity Fair style contemporary Portraits, Creative Art, Tasteful Boudoir, Weddings, Engagements, Maternity, Senior, Professional Headshots and Personal Branding sessions. Happily serving Saratoga, Troy, Schenectady areas. Lana came from Kiev, Ukraine in the early 90s. She is a self taught photographer, who above all seeks to highlight aesthetics in appearance, posing and expression in all of her images. By combining her knowledge of Fine Arts, her skills of painting and drawing, and her experience as a dancer, Lana’s images bear a certain unique feel which separates her from others. She thinks of herself as a photographic artist and image creator.

Lana does fantastic work. She recently did business headshots for me and I can’t be any happier with them! Right from my initial call with her I knew I made the best choice in photographers. She asked what I was looking to achieve. She asked for a snapshot of me and assessed my characteristics. Lana advised on appropriate colors of clothes to bring and when I arrived she advised the makeup artist on best hair style and what features to accentuate. Most importantly she put me at ease and its reflected in the photos. I had a really fun experience and look forward to going back for family and other sessions. I know I won’t be disappointed!

I needed some professional headshots (quickly) and I was lucky enough to work with Lana. She was able to accommodate my tight deadline and schedule a photoshoot within a couple days of our initial contact. She took the time to understand my business and figure out the story I needed to tell with my photos. She even helped me figure out which outfits would best convey my message. Lana’s attention to detail was astonishing as she was able to help me figure out how to get just the right pose for every shot. She also has a great attitude. Her friendly personality made it super easy to get over my nerves while taking photos. If you’re looking for any professional photos I would highly recommend considering Lana.
