Stopped by Verve with my daughter when we visited Santa Cruz. Terrific coffee place with a good selection. Nice friendly staff! I had the tumeric and ginger ice tea, very nice. Terrific outdoor area to sit, chat, and enjoy your drink.Make sure to visit when you’re in town.

My first time back to a coffee shop since lockdown, and it was to an old favorite. Terrible experience. Our coffee sat while we waited on food from the kitchen. Staff was more concerned with providing service to their friends. Orders after us passed us by. When the staff finally did attend to us, they said that our order didn’t make it to the kitchen. Curious since other food had come out from the kitchen. When we finally got our coffee, it was lukewarm, and honestly very weak. Cappuccino tasted only of milk.
