Hi Everyone! Welcome to SoCal Surf Shop! Welcome to our new Southern California Lifestyle Surf Shop. SoCal started way back in the 1960’s in Santa Monica when Paul’s father shaped surfboards in their 600 sq. ft. shop on the boardwalk. Back then it was known by the name of SoCal Surf Club, a place to drink beers and talk story about surf trips and the goings on of the day. There was not a lot of accessories at the time so he would just sell the basics, custom made surfboards and hand made leather sandals. His Mom and Dad taught Paul how to surf at the age of 3, his parents would even tandem surf together in Santa Monica, Malibu and all around So. Cal.

This is the best board shop in the area. Paul is a super cool guy and knows his stuff. The best board tune I have ever had to my board. I am old ski tech and his work is amazing. They do all of their tuning and waxing by hand and take great care in their work. I would not go any where else. Ask for Paul. Awesome!

I had a wonderful experience here, me and some buddies came just to look at some boots a couple weeks ago and ended up hanging out in the shop for 3 hours! Paul and his wife are extremely knowledgeable and hilarious. They hooked us up good with some sick gear. Just bummed because I forgot to get a Socal Surf Shop sticker for my board! Amazing experience, thank you again for the boots Paul. This place is a must for all Surf, snow and skate gear in SoCal, we drove over an hour just to get there and it was well worth it.
