My first time visiting this shop – but I’ll be back! It’s in Alameda right by the Marina. It’s in an office type complex and there is plenty of parking. I drove all the way from Sacramento to come here and it didn’t disappoint! Karen was the very nice person who helped me. I shopped for almost two hours!! I am a cross stitcher and have never seen that large of a selection of threads and fabrics in one place! It was great! Maybe a bit overwhelming – in a good way! I bought quite a few things. I bought some fabrics and they surged the edges for me right there – what a nice touch. I’ve never been to a store that does that for you. Great find for us crafty Yelpers!

This shop is packed with exquisite textiles. A variety of threads from cotton, silk, wool, and composite including fancy threads down to tons of DMC. Needlework fabrics, kits, samples, needles, buttons, frames, accessories….there were so many items! Plan on an extended visit when you visit this shop. Oh, and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Good selection online, but they aren’t set up well for online sales. They won’t refund money if they are out of stock, website is very outdated, the cart is confusing, fulfilling orders is noticeably slower than competitors. They offer an explanation bc of brick and mortar store but in 2019 it’s hard to justify such odd service.
