My go to main store in the area…. but I still like smaller local stores for some items… not as crowded as the Mission St store… and smaller…so easier to get in and out.

The staff that works here is great. The patrons not always so much and the store can be hard to navigate through at busy times. Items we are shopping for are often out of stock and we end up having to travel to the other side of town to get all of our needs met.

Decent Safeway. The staff can be a bit abrasive, but for the most part they’re fine. They do seem to move their stock around at random and often; once a week at least things will be completely rearranged lol! That gets pretty annoying tbh.I really prefer the Safeway on 41st Ave or Mission Street (41st Ave location being the best in Santa Cruz County by far), but this one is fine when I’m in the neighborhood.
