This shop is a little piece of heaven. What a lovely experience, the ambiance is spectacular. The starter tea of the day was a treat, the food was amazing! The scones were delicious!!! Smelling the bouquet of the teas before ordering was a very nice way to get us excited about the teas. Rushell and her staff made our stay lovely we felt safe lots of social distancing, very clean environment, and the food was spectacular!Look forward to going back again.

What a wonderful Mother’s Day! High tea at Bliss Tea and Treats! Such a delightful atmosphere with the beautiful decor and fresh flowers. Our experience started with a sampling of the tea of the day Chunky Monkey. All of the teas we tried were so delicious. (My favorite was Love Potion!) The treats were equally delicious from the sandwiches to the desserts. Our experience also included a blending presentation given by Rushell, the owner. She is so knowledgeable about tea and we learned so much about how different blends of tea can help our body and mind! Awesome hard working staff also made the experience! So great to have a tea house right here in Oceanside!

Reply: I did not feel comfortable communicating with you in person based on how I felt we were being treated. Even more so after learning we were having this type of experience from the person who owns the business.Original post: Going out is honestly a luxury these days && I’m pretty bummed we spent $37 per person at a place where we felt like we weren’t being treated with the same level of service as other patrons and the quality of product that we received was subpar. We made reservations to celebrate a birthday but since the woman who was assisting us (who I learned later was the owner) never asked our party’s name, it was a bit awkward when she inquired when we hoped to already have this special day acknowledged. Also, I had to uncomfortably ask for a tea cup…to drink the tea when it eventually came. I arrived tardy and my friend was offered the “tea of the day” but I never was and that’s the cup they have guests use for service as well. It was a hard pill to swallow and bill to pay when you’re anticipating an experience like Aubrey Rose or Shakespeare Shoppe and paying the same price but it’s not remotely comparable.
