I went to Home Depot yesterday since it’s a much bigger store and likely to have a better selection of brass and PVC fittings. What I got was: a) Home Depot didn’t have the part I needed, and b) it took an hour to try to find all the other pieces I needed.Today, I went to Grand Lake Hardware. They had what I needed. It was easier to find because the racks are better organized. And they have ample help to track down what’s needed. Total time: about 10 minutes.It’s really a myth that Home Depot has better selection. Give these guys a go.

Went in for emergency sprinkler system repair. The customer service was excellent with getting me what i needed for the repair. Service is # 1 with this person.Sorry, but did not get his name water is running. Lol

Best hardware store in the bay area! If they don’t have what you want, then you don’t need it! Of course, I’m biased because I used to work there. Still, it’s a great store with employees who care about the customer. And seriously, if they don’t have it, they can normally special order whatever it is.
