To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that’s what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. There was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available, that didn’t compromise on their ingredients. Fresh eggs, real butter, and real cream cheese; nothing was too good to achieve perfection.

The place in itself is so beautifully set. The welcome was very warm and the staff is more than happy to assist you. There’s lot of options on the decoration for so many different occasions in a huge book that you can selet from. I had bought a red velvet cake and it was so tasty and moist. Relished it. Also the way they packed the cake was very beautiful. I left this place feeling very happy.

Takes some planning but perfect to eat during an episode of the great British bake off on Netflix (a cake week episode obviously). Good size to eat the whole thing and feel a little less bad than eating a pint of ice cream. I wish it was open later than 6pm to facilitate the above Netflix plan… I always think I want cake then realize the store had already closed. The best back up in this scenario is a Rubicon cake from whole foods. Safeways also has them but selection and stock is more limited

When you come to the store 10 minutes after store hours to pick up your preordered birthday cake and there is still someone there to open the door and greet you warmly. You know this is the best place. Thank you for saving my day! You have the best staffs and the best cupcakes!! Blessings!
