I went to exchange or return a shirt I had bought from the Chino Hills location because it was too large. I was greeted and offered assistance by a friendly employee immediately upon entering the store. He couldn’t locate the shirt so he asked another employee who was able to help. Turns out they didn’t have a smaller size, but could order it if I preferred. I asked to try on a similar shirt to check the sizing. She found one right away and took me to a dressing room. Afterward, I browsed through the store and found several items on sale. During that time at least 3 employees offered assistance. The manager, Paul, was very helpful and made sure I was happy with my purchases. Such a difference from Nordstrom where I had been prior to Banana Republic. I was never acknowledged in any way and even when I smiled at the employees not a one returned with a smile or greeting.
