I called this place ahead of time and they were super friendly. She said come on in! So we did. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. Then she went on break. We asked to try on a wig because there are signs by the wigs that say you can try on 3 wigs with the purchase of wig cap. The owner says no we don’t allow that. Then why leave the signs up? Who is going to buy a $200 wig you can’t try on? We left and bought wigs somewhere else.

This was my second visit to Pasadena Beauty Supply. The prices are lower for some items in comparison to some beauty supply stores in the city of Los Angeles. The cashier was friendly and helpful. The owners (a man and a woman) were onsite, and near the entrance as I entered the store. I spoke, but I sensed that they were more riveted on the behavior of a customer looking at earrings. Later I asked the male owner the price on an item. He pointed to a sign (posted very high on a shelf and not at eye level!) and answered briskly. Not friendly, just direct!Overall, the owners are not pleasant, but they aren’t rude. I believe that they are watchful due to theft (photos of perpetrators are posted throughout the store). They need in-store security to be the eyes. Then they could give their customers more attention and be friendlier.I suggest you know the items that you are looking for before you come to this store. Then they will direct you to it and you can buy it and exit quickly. If not, if you need assistance or have questions about a product, you may be turned off by their abrupt attitude because they are too focused on customers who may look or act suspicious, and not on customer service.

The owner was in today was very helpful with everything I needed to purchase even helped me find a few items
