Local museum highlighting the history, art and culture of the Ojai Valley through exhibits and programs. There are permanent history exhibitions and larger exhibits that rotate three times a year, rotating between contemporary art, and in depth history subjects. A small gift shop carries items and books with a valley connection. The museum is located in a former church that is on the National Register of Historic Buildings. Children love the Sespe Wilderness diorama. There is a Chumash Interpretive Garden behind the building. Enter the small parking lot on Blanche St.

Came to the zoo while my husband and were visiting Ojai. We had a good day there. Hardly anyone there which was very nice. Made it more enjoyable. Although some of the areas were closed off so to COV19. Also all the benches were closed off as well which was not OK with me but what you gonna do. I can’t wait to visit again when things get back to normal.

Small quaint museum with “suggested donation” of $5 each. Though it was “suggested”, one would feel pressured to pay when the person asks once you come in,And there wasn’t anyone else in the museum. It was a tiny museum with a small section of the history of Ojai and a special exhibit of architecture.
