Shoreline Lake is one of the few places that offers a true respite in Silicon Valley. Well worth visiting, it’s the perfect place for a break from the office, lunch, or a few hours spent learning how to sail. With a diverse range of classes, equipment for rent, and activities, Shoreline Lake’s Boathouse and American Bistro has something to offer everyone. Of course, no requirement exists to do anything other than enjoy the view and take in the tranquility that is Shoreline Lake.

Nice place to eat by the water but pricey for the quality of food.

A decent place nearby to the city for an outing with family over weekend.

Beautiful area to sit and relax and beautiful trails to walk, bike and/or run

Beautiful park with a great walking and bike trail, just a bit too windy sometimes because of bay close by. Don’t forget a wind jacket and a hat or a cap if you have sinusitis. You can rent a boat also there is a playground for kids.

Spent some time here eating, drinking, and stand-up paddleboarding. Nice atmosphere, although maybe a bit too crowded for my taste. Food and drink were excellent. Lake equipment staff were a bit overwhelmed albeit friendly. Great place to spend a hot day.

I used to go to this park with my son years ago! The park is free for visitors. You can take your kids here to enjoy water activities such as boating. Also has a great cafe. Eggs Benedict was my go to dish at Shoreline Cafe. There was also a sand box area for the kids to play in as well. Many engineers from the nearby Google campus brought their children to the park for kite flying. At the time I frequented this park with my then toddler son Google was not quite as big as it is now. Back then we could ride bikes on the campus
