I was down at the mission Viejo Mall specifically for the opening reception of the Laguna art gallery. It’s on the second level right next to Nordstrom’s. Very impressive. Much larger than I anticipated, and it appears that they’ll be showing an eclectic grouping of works from various artists. They had an interesting dance program as entertainment, but I think the space may be a very valuable community resource. I sure hope so, as unique art galleries that represent and promote young artists is sorely needed in South Orange County.
