A while back I visited the Clairemont UPS store for a drop off. This particular worker, very unfriendly, said that he wouldn’t take packages that weren’t packaged in proper brown boxes or UPS boxes. I repackaged them and went back. Although he took them, he wouldn’t give me a receipt.2 days ago I went to drop off more boxes. It’s that same guy again and he repeated the same line that I have to use brown boxes. I asked whether the other UPS stores are like that; and he said yes. So I went to another UPS store only to find friendly staff who accepted my packages, as is, and gave me a receipt…and their customer service was 5 stars. I asked the staff if it was OK to send packages in non-UPS boxes and she said Absolutely. Not a problem. Any box is ok. Hmmm… I will take my business to the other UPS stores from now on.

No wonder it’s a 1 star business. Don’t expect any kind of service at this branch.Reply to owner: If you still write back to customers instead of fixing things like hiring some more people when you have 1.6 rating over 46 reviews, you deserve that. Your business will go down, hopefully sooner.This was literally the worst UPS I’ve ever been.

If your staff is doing a great job why are you at 1.6 review rating?, the man that works there normally acts like he hates his job and does the absolute minimum he has to, just to slide by. To be this bad for this long he is probably a relative! Shame on the owners for ignoring the reviews!!
