I called 1800 Verizon. Because my navigating app wasn’t working. 30 minute wait on hold. So I went to this place and Matt had me fixed up in minutes. Totally happy.

I’ve always had great experiences going and finding out new tech and seeing what devices are coming soon. All it takes is one horrible experience to ruin the enjoyment I used to have. I’ve been a loyal Verizon customer since I was 14 years old as my first cellphone service. I came here to try and purchase a new device, and I already knew what color and model I wanted. As I walked in I noticed 2 people being assisted on. An agent was standing behind the counter at the entrance…yet nobody Acknowledged or even paid attention to me standing at the entrance for over 10 min. So I decided to just look around and wait until someone became available. Another 10 minutes went by and then I noticed a new client had just walked in. As soon as she walked in the door she was approached by another Verizon Sales Rep that came out the back door. I stood there in awe as I was not once approached, but this lady walks in and gets assisted right away. After 5 min another gentleman came out from the back room and came towards me and asked if I’ve been helped. I stated no and I was here waiting for someone to be available. He apologized and stated the lady that came in probably had an appointment. Which is funny since I had one as well. He proceeded to assign me an agent that will be with me momentarily. As I waited by the Pixel Phone section for the Sales Rep to come Assist me, I finally saw who was coming to assist me. Her name was Lisbeth and as she approached me… Not once did she look up, make eye contact or even introduce herself. She just kept staring at her screen the whole time. I spoke with her for about 5-10 minutes and she was just giving short answers and didn’t not try to get to know my needs as a client to assist me better. While she quoted my new bill since I was also there to switch my plan from an unlimited Nationwide plan to the new unlimited plan and purchase a new Note 10 Plus I decided to definitely not buy anything at this store since I had enough of being treated this way. She did not look at me or make eye contact once… NOT ONCE. I WAS ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS AT THIS POINT. I decided to ask for a copy of the quote she made for my new bill and payment plan, Thanked her for the copy and walked out..I finally had enough. I took my money and my business and went straight to the other Verizon Store at 5195 North Blackstone Ave. I explained to the other Verizon Store of my experience and they apologized profusely for the actions of this store. I always will recommend to my friends and family of Verizon’s absolutely great customer service… But after this experience I’m definitely going to be rethinking that and recommend that experiences May differ according to the Sales Rep and Store. As far as I’m concerned I’m no longer buying anything from this store, which is sad since I’ve also had great experiences from some sales reps here. As far as Lisbeth, I hope she reads this and I hope she corrects her customer service skills. Maybe… just maybe she can learn from this and correct her mistakes to ensure the Verizon image is not tarnished with such horrible customer service skills like hers.

The most terrible telephone customer support that we’ve ever had was with Verizon. For a device replacement we spent around 4 hours being ping-ponged from department to department for nothing. I’ve never seen my wife cry in distress over ‘customer support’.
