I made the unfortunate decision to buy a LG refrigerators (Kenmore Elite Model# 795.74042.411) 5 years ago for $2,300. The built-in-door ice machine went out twice, once under warranty, second time not. $400 repair second time, so went back to making ice with trays. Now the LG compressor has gone out. $1,200 and at least two weeks to get the part. Repair technician recommended getting a new fridge due to cost of repair, 15 – 20 days to MAYBE get the part and historically the compressor would probably fail again in 2 – 5 years. Went to buy a new fridge and was told because of Covid-19, tariffs, etc it would be 6-8 weeks to get a new fridge. Stored food in coolers and discovered dry ice was going to cost about $25 – $35 a day for the freezer food, plus $5/daily for ice for the fridge food. Needed a fridge ASAP. Called friends looking for the unused garage fridge, no luck. Called numerous furniture rental companies. All rent to own. Called Aaron’s and talked to Ralph (Store Manager). Told him my story and he said he’d try to help but they were not in the business of renting appliances short term. He found a fridge that he could rent to me, monthly. Paper work was going to be tricky because this was not their normal operations. They delivered the fridge the next day. These guys totally understand the situation that we are all in today because of the virus and went out of their way to help. I’d rate 10 stars if I could. Thanks Ralph.

I’ve been a long time Customer with Aaron’s in Sacramento Area where the service at 5+ rating and paid all my rent to own furnitures.But, when i moved back in Bay Area the service at Hayward Store is very dis-appointing Customer Service, dis-respectful attitude’s….. i’m really finished and paid my products in full and never again…. deal with Aaron’s Hayward.
