One of my favorite thrift stores! I used to take my Grandma here to get her deals, and still love coming here. This thrift store still has good prices like you would expect at a thrift store (unlike Goodwill these days). It’s small inside but has an array of stuff from clothes to trinkets to books to furniture, jewelry, shoes, bags and more. I can always find some goodies in here! Nice staff and great deals. Parking is sometimes tricky as it’s in the Trader Joe’s parking lot which gets busy. Love that this store raises funds for hospice care. <3

DISGUSTED! 0/10 CUSTOMER SERVICEMy mom went in to look for a wheelchair to donate and she had gone in before and was priced at $45. Today she went in to purchase and she was priced $75! There was a second wheelchair in better condition so she asked about that one and was priced $85. The lady told my mom that she didn’t care what they had told her the past days, the wheelchair was $75. After I got there the lady didn’t speak to me, she just looked me up and down. While my mom and I were talking trying to figure out if this is the wheelchair we wanted to purchase I kept feeling uneasy because she kept passing by us but not really with a purpose. We decided to purchase and got in line, still talking about how happy the lady we were donating it to would be. I was skeptic on the price as we went in with an idea and was priced different but whatever, sometimes co-workers get prices wrong. We decided we were gonna talk with the cashier and ask if that price was the least, we weren’t too hopeful as the lady had already rudely told us the price was $85, because the cushion alone is $180. We didn’t care too much for the cushion, but we figured it was nice discount and slightly worn.Everything was going semi-good when she came around the building and yelled, from the door, (!!!YELLED!!!) at the cashier, that the wheelchair is $85. He wasn’t even finished with his current customer yet. My mother is kind and hates conflict, bless her soul. But this lady’s tone of voice when directed at us or about us was rude and as if she felt we were stealing or something. She yelled it loud as if to let everyone know we were there, buying a wheelchair???I don’t want to point to racism here, I’ve had very few encounters with racism as I am Mexican but speak perfect English. But there’s no other way to explain the tone of voice she used at us. The looks she gave us, or that she yelled at the cashier as if to say I’m sure they will try to haggle but that item is $85 so I’m gonna tell so everyone is aware.Now I love this store, don’t get me wrong sometimes they have beautiful items. But this lady made me have a sour taste whenever I think of this store now. Very very disappointed. We took our business elsewhere and found what we were looking for.

Some of the reviews are way too harsh. This is a thrift store raising funds for hospice care, recycling/repurposing items that might have ended up in a landfill, and offering affordable prices (yes, some items are pricey because they are worth more) for those on a tight budget. Personally, I’m grateful such places exist. I don’t know why some people go out of their way to complain…. wish people could see larger picture instead of nitpicking small details. I’m grateful for the people involved in running the store and the impact they are aiming to make. And am especially grateful for the few treasures I’ve found in my few visits!
