All I can say is if you’re looking to rent bikes to tour San Francisco, make sure you call San Francisco Bicycle Rentals. They made it easy. The bikes were great. The directions and access to good advice was easy. Bikes, bags, locks, fitting, even sightseeing recommendations were outstanding. Chris made the entire experience a breeze whether she was simply available by text/phone ahead of time or picking up a wrench to adjust the seat for my son. A tourist business, to be sure, but they never treated us like tourists. Not once.

Very knowledgeable and friendly! They will tell you the most updated information and routes. For example ferries from Sausalito has been suspended but google maps still shows them in operation… and bike rider can go through the golden gate bridge through the east side while google maps telling you wrong information on the west side…

The staff that I encountered both in the morning and at return was super friendly, and the bicycle they gave me was in great shape. I biked 30 miles all around San Francisco and everything went smoothly. Also, I reserved my bicycle online and they gave me 20% off of the regular price. I highly recommend this bicycle rental business!
