This is the closet desi store to me but I still avoid trying to buy halal meat from here. I’ll drive all the way out to Hicksville to get some clean and fresh meat. I made the mistake of buying chicken the other day and when I brought it home I noticed it smelt so bad. I ended up having to throw it all away. This was not the first time! I acknowledge that they’re trying to improve the store but the quality of meat and poultry is horrible. The chicken is sometimes yellow, or left out and has spoiled before it’s given to the customer. Numerous occasions when I’ve gone in to buy spices the store smells disgusting, even through my mask! I hate leaving bad reviews but I’m hoping the owner sees this and makes some changes.

Guy at the front that takes the meat orders told me I can’t take pictures of the menu. Said something “New York State” like it’s illegal for me to do so. I just wanted to know the options to call an order in ahead of time. Well here’s the menu guys!
