Upon waiting for a AT&T representative inside store #S137 to address my needs, there was an older gentleman around 70 years of age waiting for someone to address his concerns. Behind me was a younger gentleman at approximately 28 years of age. Store manager Brad asked if the elderly gentleman was being taken care of as the older gentlemen stated no and was asked to wait outside in the hot sun. The younger gentlemen behind me asked the store manager Brad what is the maximum capacity allowed in the store (being that there were several customers and representative moving about in the store ). Store manager Brad did not provide an answer to the customer and told the younger customer to wait outside the store. The younger customer refused to leave the store as store manager Brad got up close to the younger customer at approximately two feet in length and told the younger customer that he refuses to provide service to the younger customer and that if he did not leave the store that he will call the police. This verbal confrontation lasted for approximately 15 minutes as other customers in the store were feeling disturbed and walked out. As my matters were being addressed, it made me feel uncomfortable about the service being provided at this location. Store manager Brad conducted himself in a very unprofessional manner and had no regard to the elderly customer who had to wait outside in the hot sun. I am not certain what the proper protocol is when dealing with clients who are disturbed by this manager’s behavior. With my observation in this situation Brad was already defensive in body language, tone & response to the younger customer who asked a simple question in which Brad took offense to & instead of de escalating the situation, took it to another level.
