I can have a lot of anxiety when going to the doctor’s office. And when I walked into Snyder Optometry I was so nervous. As soon as I was greeted by the receptionist my nervousness went away. She was so warm and friendly. The atmosphere is very homely and the furniture gives the office character. You will love the fireplace in the waiting area. As for Dr. Snyder, he was the best. He was extremely patient with me when he was applying eye drops in my eye. Is he accessible for phone calls? I called today and I got to speak to him. How often do you get to do that? I strongly recommend this office. Go check them out yourself.

I have been visiting Snyder Optometry since 2000, when I was first prescribed glasses for my nearsightedness at the age of 5. At that time, it was only Dr. David Snyder, and as a kid I remember being charmed by his professionalism, patience, and kindness. The staff only enhanced the experience of choosing glasses with their friendliness towards my family and myself. I have been going for my check-ups every year without fail and eventually I got contacts – though I continue to prefer my glasses. I remember when Dr. Harlan Snyder came on board, he carried the same qualities that his dad had; for me, a visit to their office has always had the same positive experience throughout the years. The staff genuinely cares and it really feels like they’ve seen me grow up throughout the years!
