First time back since before the pandemic. Still a wonderful place to spend an afternoon.Doesn’t require much more than a half day to see everything with kids in tow. For a small zoo, it has a spacious layout.Current reservation requirements for times entry tickets seem like a positive aspect to keep the zoo from getting too crowded.Staff were pleasant and helpful. Seemed like a majority of the animals were napping, but that’s nature, too, and might just be a part of their afternoon routines. Will be returning again!

Loved being able to take my kids again and enjoy sharing the zoo with my youngest son for the first time. I loved the fact that they inform you of their mask policies online in YOU CAN NOT MISS letters before you can get to the booking page and have to click to agree to the mask policy as well (where it is again explained in detail) before you can confirm your visit to the Buffalo Zoo. The Zoo’s mask policy was a deciding factor on why we choose to purchase the membership instead of just day passes. The Buffalo Zoo Protective Mask Police as of May 18th, 2021 is: When walking around exploring the Outside animal habitats you do NOT need to wear a mask no matter what your age. To Explore the Indoor habitats anyone above the age of 2 must wear a mask until exiting the building again. It does not matter if you are vaccinated or not these rules apply to Everyone.

Lots to see. Some displays are hard for a toddler to see into without being picked up. Expect to get a few reps in if you have a little one. Very friendly staff. My son enjoyed our time there very much.
