I was totally taken advantage of by AT&T. I am a valued customer for many years probly over tueni I got family members to join and and even a directv subscriber because of AT&T. I went in to purchase a phoneOn an upgrade. They said I was not eligible so IKept my phone. That was Thursday July 2nd period I went back Monday July 6 after being in vacationBecause my phone was still not working right. I purchased a phone for $600 I put a 150 down and with taxes and a cover a cost $298 in my bill was to go up $15 a month for 30 months. Before I left the store they told me that the phone I bought was on promotion up until July 3rd and it would have been free as an upgrade and I would just have to pay the taxes on the $600 retail price. This was not told to me on the 2nd when I was in there to purchase a phone. You can see how someone would be very upset get a $600 purchaseCould have been avoided. After 3 times on the phone with customer service and over an hour half wait time I spoke to someone who is very kind. They inform me I could return my phone and get a different one but would still have to pay cause the promotion was over. Never in my life have I Witnessed such poor business to a valued customer for many years. Not once did anyone I would contacted tell me that the $15 would be waived per month I was going to pay the 1st 150. No one informed me that I could get my $600 back because the day I wanted the phone it was an offer to me. Cannot believeAT&T did not want to make this right. I was caught off twice while on the line with a customer service and they didn’t even bother to call back. That’s the story hopefully nobody gets treated this way in the Future.
