I am a Hispanic 4’11” woman who has been at work since 9am all I wanted to do is go home but unfortunately I had to stop at this store as an emergency. I just experience the worst customer service at Walgreens. There is a sale of buy one at full price get one 50% off on always pads, so I accidentally grab different size 28count and 33count so one of them is $9.99 the other one $7.49 so I go back in the long line because as usual there’s only 1 register open and we can’t pay at the pharmacy. So I asked the gentleman to exchange the pads so I can get the sale. So he tries to charge me an additional $2.50 more to pay the difference but the sale is buy one get one 50% off. So he gets an attitude and gives me a nasty look. I asked him to call his manager( I’m tired and Im trying to save money because everyone knows times are hard) so turns around angry and he says “I’m the manager”. Then the lady who is the actual manager( also catches an attitude because she looks like she doesn’t want to be bothered) says yeah he’s the “boss” at this point I’m just like “ I don’t want anything, I just want my money back” I asked for his name he said hector so I went to look for a worker to find out the manager name he gave me a woman’s name and a totally different name of the man at the register. I can’t believe how rude they were to me, I am an essential worker just like them. I am paying for my products I’m not asking for anything free. If I could give them a 1/2 start I would’ve. They need to be trained on how to treat customers we are all going through a rough time we should be helping one another not making life harder. I’ve been shopping here for quite some time and always come early in the morning and I don’t get treated this way.

Store Manager Yanell or Jonell doesnt know how to handle the sense of urgency of customers when there is a long line. Only Two registers open and yet ask me to make the main line to pick up a fedEx/UPS when in fact the package pickup area (this is walgreens.com package) is in another part of the store (printing area) I ask an associate that enter the pick up/printing area if he can help pick up my package. He said that the ONLY person that was allow to help me with this was the manager. I get to the register to ask for my package and the cashier was the one that was trying help on the other area leaving one cashier and this manager knowing that 1. There is a big line 2. She is the ONLY one that can help me get my package (eventually not) and 3.Not jumping in the cash register or at least looking for another associate to cover while that one associate was helping me.
