It helped me out in many ways repairing my alto sax and best place for instraments

Mark Kasten is one of the best woodwind repairmen around. He has worked on both my clarinet and saxophone. He is also a good guy. He used Mr. Weiners secret degreasing compound to clean my sax and it did wonders.

When you walk into this store you wonder if you’ve got the right place…Then you see people looking at you over the top of their desk wall…then you wait several beats and wonder why no one has greeted you even tho you know they saw you because they r still glacing up every now and then. Finally, when I was about to turn and leave I get a how may I help you from a guy who appeared from downstairs. Nice guy, very helpful (4* service) I go back a 2nd time…honestly I wouldn’t have but they are the only store that carries my reeds. No service, I braved the peek-a-boo wall and asked if anyone can help me. The grumpy lady got up and helped me. (2* service, only caused she cracked a smile after the sale)DON’T, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, JUST REALLY DON’T bring your instrument there to get it serviced. The guy Mark must’ve have thought I was stupid but he wanted to charge me $600.00 to service my instrument. I had gotten quotes from 3 other places and they all said $35-$55 and yes they had my instrument for them to look at and they said they can do all that Mark said he would do for $35-$55 price range, $200. For an overhaul. I really hate when people try to rip me off.Needless to say you just lost my business because you employ a greedy rip off guy. I will plan accordingly and order my reeds online from now on.
